I had mine checked back when the recall first came out and my 97 RXT was Okay.

received the recall notice about 2 weeks after I bought my 07 gtx on 3/29. I called Seadoo, gave them my VIN and they said yes, I was affected. Had to wait until 5/23 for the dealer to get the part. When I brought the ski in the tech pulled apart the valve and said I didn't need to change the part. Boy was I pissed, almost 2 months with a brand new ski that I couldn't use and all along I could have. I bitched to Seadoo and they stepped up, they gave me an additional 6 months on my original warrantee. All is good now, already logged 34 hrs.

Guess this explains why when I unscrew fuel cap on the 07 rxp it wants to pop out like a cork....there is some pressure there something else to look at.....
