    XS IC success

Installed JFizzle's XS intercooler with much help from Turbo Todd on my '07 RXT. Installation went well, everything fit properly. I picked up 200 rpm's at 91 degrees and 90% rel humidity. Was running 7960, now running 8160. Speed at 69.6 so maybe I'll break 70 with cooler, dryer air. To get more air into the intake I opened the hood 2" and ran with the storage tub out. Speed went from 67.4 to 69.6. I definately need to get more air into the intake. A big thanks to Todd and James for this boost.

Aren't you sitting on the limiter (or at least close enough it's pulling timing) at 8160?

Maybe prop or nozzle it for 8100 and gain some more speed...

suck the air out, instead of pushing it in...BIG BLWERin the rear.

Repitch the prop, and you'll be playing in the 70's...
