Need Advice: 1996 Xp
Hi, i just sold my 96 Polaris SL780 and im now looking at buying a 96 XP and i was wanting to know everything about this ski the good and the bad

Mine was stock, did about 56-57 gps, very fun by yourself (only) awsome wave jumper. Clean the carbs completely, check pop-off, change the fuel lines, change to pre-mix if not already done. Get a manual, it will help alot.

would you be able to tell me how to switch to premix... i just bought a 96 xp.

if it has the 787 engine with the RAVE valves, pop 'em off and check if they're gunked up. My Challenger 1800 need four of them and all four cost more than enough.

i'll get alot of flack for posting this, but...
theres a ton of info at www.sea-doo.net
everything you ever wanted to know about the 2 stroke seadoo skis.
especially the 96 xp, 97-99spx, same ski.
that is the site for 2 stroke tech. its all been discussed and posted over there.
this site is alot more 4stroke newer seadoo model info.
rather than repost everything ever discussed on the 96xp, go do a search on that website
