    slt 700 stator removal

I am trying to remove my stator to put it in another ski, so I don't want to damage it but, I can't get the grommit from the electrical box through the engine case.

I just changed the one in my Hurricane and did NOT have to cut any wires, it should come right through the case with no issue.

Here's a photo of the unit out of the craft.
IF you wind up cutting the wires it would be a good time to add a waterproof connector so you can easily test at a later date. No splitting the electrical box for testing, how nice is that??

Yours looks just like mine but, mine will not come close to coming through the hole. I have greased it and put a string between the wires to pull it through. It has a flat ridge around it maybe I should trim off that ring.
