    Finally made the 70mph Club!!

Thank god!! I previously ran a best of 69.0mph in early June. Mods at the time were only 1200 grate, Jim's FF plate and PPK. Earlier this week I added a D-plate and removed the flame arrestgors from the stock airbox. I made quite a few runs this morning. Water temp was 90* and air temp was roughly the same. Ran 69.9mph four straight times, what a tease. On the 5th run, I just tucked in as much as I could (full superman) and boom! 70.0mph on the nose! I'm pretty happy running 70mph with the very few mods I have.

    Mike

Thanks guys! A lot of people have a problem believing that I run so fast with the mods I have. I have to give a big thanks to Jim for helping me get the bottom of the ski setup perfectly to be able to run like I do.

I believe it. They're the same #'s I run with same mods in cooler weather. In the summer heat i have to use the 800 grate to break 70.

The next 5-10Mph is where it starts to cost you $$$$$ Cha-ching!!!!!!!!

Congrats Fusion great numbers... Keep it up bro. Cooler weather will be here before you know it, and that GPS will continue to click off even better numbers. Ditto what Billy said, get a 800 grate and be very careful. Always inspect it before you ride. Every time...
