    Used R/R Race ECU Question

    From what I understand people going to the new s/c will have to use the stock ecu so there will be some RR ecu's for sale. So what would a person have to do to get one to work with there ski?

    what on earth makes you think that when going to the new SC you have to stick with the stock ECU?

    Running the stock ECU will just limit the performance you will be able to squeeze out of it.

    We don't know yet. If you just did that one mod then probably no.

    BUT, once you start adding Riva intercoolers, cold air intakes, exhaust mods, etc. you will more than likely put it in the danger zone.

    I hear the Dyno run was good with stock boat and there was a 15 hp gain

    Looks like I'm going to have to jump on the riva impeller when the market gets flooded with used ones.

    I'll be at a stage 2 and I don't think I'm going to go ECU or injector.

    Les specifically told me that his controller/pump combo will compensate for the stock ecu only. I just have to be weary of my rpms. He doesn't want me bumping on the stock ecu's rev limiter of 8200. He did not speak about the RR.

    Well, I have a modified air intake to the front storage, the reflashed ECU, and the B Kit. Won't change the injectors or fuel mapping until I see some numbers with my current set up. I guess we shall see what happens. Once the J pipe comes back from Nils, I am in the water. I wonder if my 14/19 will be up for sale with this B kit.
