It's just a 12mm allen wrench. Sears has them and some auto parts stores. You will need a torque extender, 36" piece of black pipe.

i just take the handle of a rubber hammer and give it a gentle but firm wack and it should loosen right up and spin off by hand.

    fyi its reverse thread

i was assuming you meant the water pump for the coolant and not the jet pump impeller

theres probably some special tool, just strike it with a rubber handled hammer. like hit one corner of it to spin it off. keep in mind its reverse thread.

Do none of the above, just go to an auto parts store and buy a strap wrench
Its a plastic handle with a rubber strap attaced that is desigened to fit any odd shaped thing (like a water pump impeller)
Hitting it with a hammer may damage the seal.

ive done at least 20+ like this, nothing will happen as long as you use the right touch, you cant touch the seal, its underneath the impeller.

i dont really see how youre going to get a strap around the impeller anyway, maybe you could, i dunno i dont have one in front of me, but why make it more complicated than it is
