    Mew Motor For 1997 Xp

    Hey guys my 1997 seadoo xp motor seized up on me, im just wondering if you guys think its worth it to sell it n get wat i can n buy a new one..or put a new motor in n use it n sell it for more cash n then getta new one...if you got ne opinions lemme know

    Depends on how much you are lookin to invest in a new one...if you are gonna sink some cash in go ahead and get a newer one...if you are gonna end up with an older ski ...I'd fix the XP...

    how much you want out of it...what kind of shape is it in and do u have pics?

    Well the hull is in almost mint condition..it was a scratch or two on the bottom, but the rest is clean..I do have pics I can put up..But im not sure what hulls like mine go for usually, im lookin to buy a ski if i sell it..so i mean wats a decent price for the complete hull?..i dont wanna get jipped

    Don't do the referbished engine from SBT!!!!

    2 years warrenty and some better parts... why not??

    i was directed to this company from a old time seadoo racer.. said it was great!!
    my 96 spx 720 crankshaft bearing exploided so we were planing to use this company!
    i would love to hear all the reasons why not...

    Because they bore all their 800's 1 mm over, recut the head, and this makes it impossible to pipe/mod and be reliable. Their cranks are good...I'm running one myself now, but I'd buy a reman Rotax from a dealer if I were going to keep the ski. New sleeves, OEM 81.89 pistons, all new Rotax parts. Price is competitive too.

    not all of their engines are bored1.0mm over you can get standard bore also
