    Grocery Getter Gets Faster

    This was my wife's daily driver for 7 years, then she decided to take my 02 Z71. I've always wanted a Z06 but I could never talk her in to it so this is what I came up with to satisfy the need for speed.



    It ran a best ever 12.005 with the old stock bottom end setup, I hope to see some improvements at the track this Friday

    10's or bust baby!!

    Its a splay capped forged 357 with LT4 AFR 210's modified to accept a Victor intake, and thats an F1 procharger pushing the air. The valve train is all solid roller comp stuff with SSteel rockers and a .690 lift cam, 259/269 duration. The desktop dyno says it should make 975 HP at the crank. Through the 4L80E I'm looking for 700+ at the wheels.

    i am betting you will be right around 760-770 at the wheels

    Hi Joel, we'll be at Edgewater after it cools down a little bit, right now the engine is out of it fixing a little damage in the #5 hole. It went lean on the dyno after making 677 at the wheels but we never did get to wind it all the way out. I still think it will make 750 at the wheels.
