    Sponsons For 97 Sl780?

I have read a few comments about how sponsons might help my 97' SL780 from jumping out of the water and staying hooked up better in rough water. Where can I find a set that will fit this ski and can they be installed from the outside only without having to remove styro from inside the hull? Thanks!

Take a look on e-bay or check with John Zigler or maybe even Mitch at M&M Marine inSacramento, Ca.
The mounting directions and template are in the tech section.
    I didn't know the 97 780 didn't have sponsons.

Thanks! My 97' SLT780 has them but not the SL780. Would the same sponson used on the SLT work on the SL? For that matter, any sponson used on an earlier model? Just want to know what to look for on e-bay.

An extended pump will help also.

Yes, they will work Polaris had two sets long and short sponsons. The long ones went on extended pump models and the short ones were an add on for non extended pump models. I ran the long ones on my SL750 before adding the extended pump and had no problems.

Thanks for all the info. I found the rivet nuts online, they look simple enough to install. Now just need to wait till a set shows up on e-bay! There's a blue one for one side on there now but I'd like to find a complete set in purple.
