    Exhaust sensor question

Hi guys, I just replaced my speed sensor on my gp 1300 and doing so, I pulled the wires out of the exhaust sensor that's rite before the waterbox and now it won't start. Is this the reason it won't start? Also, can I bypass it? Thanks, Donald

i know you can bypass the exhaust temp sensor on top. The one you're speaking of I believe is a cooling temp sensor. not sure how to bypass that one.

Yes, that is the reason it wont start.
Yes it can be bypassed. On the 05 it was a 2k ohm resistor but I think some years are different. WFO would probably know about your year if you let us know what it is. Or if you can solder the wires back in the problem will be solved.

The top sensor will let the ski start if removed but flash and beep at you. The bottom sensor if removed wont let the ski start at all.

So if this is just a resistor, then it doesn't matter which wire goes in which hole then rite? Also, my speed sensor, does it plug into the cable that you access by taking the front compartment out? It's the rite connector but the wire colours are different, Donald
