what is the major difference between the rotax intercooler and the riva intercooler or piranha, besides the price. is there a temp difference?? or performance , does the piranha need blow off valve. i cant see spending 1300 on a external intercooler if the 800 is going to be the same.. i cant believe how overpriced PWC parts or sooo over priced.

The Riva and Piranha perform equally and will both have about 100 more RPM's over the Rotax Racing. The RR is just too restrictive. Also, the Riva and Piranha are perfectly sized for our application.... not too much volume so boost stays up and throttle response is very snappy.

Quick question for the guys running the RR IC. Ive only noticed about a 60 rpm gain. I know this IC is more restrictive and boost isnt as high as the others......does this sound about right for the normal gains with this IC? Throttle response feels crisper....the rpms just arent quite what I was hoping for....before I go back and use some right stuff on the plumbing and blockoff, just wanted to see if others were seeing similar gains.

I would get the Piranha for the money The Riva is over priced and the quality IMO is at the bottom of the pack
this is just from my personal experience with the Riva

I am happy with my Piranha so far. Better price than Riva for same product. The silicone hoses that come with piranha are easier to work with than metal pipe. The mounting braket is top notch.
My only complaint about Piranha IC is the are where the clamp, clamps on to is alittle short. I would like to see it lengthened. This is minor thought and i feel is okay by being cheaper.
I didn't like how Riva uses rubber bands to hold the IC to the bracket. Piranha uses 4 bolts.

Jerry i have a BRAND NEW Rotax Racing inner cooler would i benefit myself if i got the Pirahna cooler im in the process of trying to get the drive shaft seal from them and if your comfortable with your statement about the RIVA/Pirahna having just a few more R's then i wanna get the Pirahna BEFORE i get this pig/2007 RXP assembled. any further thoughts would be appreciated. i can most likely get the suppiler to take back what i got and get me the other with NO TROUBLE. just wanna make sure you feel the other two units are superior in whatever small amount that may be. thanks for the help as always. BOB1988/Robert Tetrick said we gotta start getting ALL our stuff from you as well. u sold him that Solas 15/20R yesterday and i got the two sets of NEW bearings the day before and the prices were GREAT!! THANKS!
