need help 2001 900 STX
My friend has this ski. said it was running fine, then he and a friend pushed it away from beach, they jumped on it and rolled it over.. It was not running at the time. They flipped it right back over, some water got in hull. when he put the key on he got nothin. dash light up for a secong now nothing at all. Battery cables were tight but, he said where the cables go into a black box they fely a little loose. I am wondering if they were loose, could this and water caused a short in the system?
Any advice on the problem or what to check?
he has 2 of these ski's...he tried the battery from the other one, but still didnt start

Pull the spark plugs out, and try cranking the engine over. You might have filled the engine with water.

Thanks Mark, he did pull the plugs, changed batteries, clean battery cables. he gets no electrical showing up. If the battery cables were loose where they connect to a box( not sure what he means, I haven't seen his ski yet) could water have shorted out his electrical system??

Yes, but without seeing the ski for yourself.....
