Kit, Bypass Valves, KAW Ultra 250X QUESTION

Question for our Tennessee and Florida brothers - I installed the RIVA block offs, also purchased the bypass kit (the three small K&N air filters / breathers). I'm hearing that installing the bypass kit could involve removing one of the critial vacuum lines (????) that could be a negative thing over the long haul of the engine. Any insight anyone can offer is appreciated - is this a good modification to make or no?

    Thanks

Neither the block off kit or the filters on the relief and bov will gain you anything (although it does look cool) You are not unhooking any vacuum line when you put the filters on the valves. You will be removing the hoses from the valves to the intake. The kit should have 2 caps for the inlets on the intake for the hoses from the valves.

I did not notice any performance gain. I added the valve cover block offs when I did the exhaust mod and changed the waterbox. I put the filters on the b.o. and relief valve when I changed the intake. I did those more out of necessity because the R-rated intake does not have fittings for the hoses that run off each valve. I don't think they add any performance but they look good.
