    Ultra250 OIL...What do you recommend?

    Hey guys!

New Ultra 250 owner and new to the forum. What oil do you recommend for the Ultra 250. I want to go full synthetic and don't mind paying for the best oil. I think put it best on another post that with the amount of money we spend on gas oil is pretty darn cheap...

Any info would be great AND my buddy bought a 150 so any input on that oil would be great too...

    Thanks ahead of time...

    Mitch

after my 10 hours are up i'm going with amsoil 15-40 full synthetic.. Although if I end up having the fuel in the oil issue like a few are having, and have to change more often, I may just use a cheaper synthetic blend.

Does anyone do their own oil changes on this forum and if so, how do you get the oil out?

(is there a tool or machine you use to suck it out?)

Oh, and do you recommend warming up the engine before hand?

This is what quite a few people are using. This is a marine oil for marine applications. This is not a car oil that sees mostly sustained low RPM's. This is made for high RPM applications. 10W-40 AMSOIL Synthetic Marine Oil http://www.amsoil.com/redirect.cgi?zo=367509&page=storefront/wcf

For preferred customer pricing please PM, EM or call me. Prices listed are retail.

I bought a pump from advance auto, 12.00 comes with the tube that fits down the dipstick-hole, and they also had the oil filter cap tool that makes the change real simple for 4.00. Did my first oil change at 2 hours. going to full syn. at 10 or so...

What is the amount of oil (qrts) that I should be running?

Everyone says to not fill it to factory recommended levels...
