Take it from someone who went through a period of unemployement recently - make your job search your full time job now. Get a pad and pen and log every contact you make, every email/letter you send out, and follow up on every one. Call recruiters, scan the papers, Monster.com, etc. You'll find something in no time! I did not realize the housing market was that bad, 50 lending companies might close their doors. My job depends on the house market, or least the building of new houses.

Also about a 90% chance my mother and I will be buying the local bagel shop i work for!

I got laid off a couple weeks back. Sucks. I'm on monster.com hotjobs.com careerbuilder.com almost every hour. Hard finding a good job now a days trying to make good money. I'm thinking about selling the house and moving more north to port saint Lucie area maybe and become the greeter at Walmart . At least up there i could afford too. . just keep ur head up Things happen for a reason. U will find something better.
