    RXT...RPMs lower....Dealer says OPAS?

I just got my ski back with a stage 1 installed. When I ran it, 7300rpms and 58mph was all it would do. It ran much better before i had the kit put on. What the HELL! Dealer is trying to tell me that it was something with the OPAS that was wrong and that its fixed....without taking it for a test run. I thinks that BULL? How can the OPAS effect the max RPMs? Isnt the OPAS the steering/fins? My ski was going 7800rpms @ 68mph!

    HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes OPAS is the little steering fins on the back. As part of the stage 1 kit you shoud have put on the OPAS competition part(Little plastic clips that hold the OPAS fins in the UP postition). I don't see how OPAS would effect RPM. I think your dealer is talking some BULL.

As far as RPM goes i'm not totally sure. I hit the mark the first time. Did you install the kit or have the dealer. Sure everything is installed correctly?

Where is your location? approximate temps?

chances are when the dealer put your throtthle body back on they diddnt seat it propperly. sucking in air is your idle up higher then 1800 out of water. if so thats your problem, or still can be just slightly leeking

    You can say that again

I will recommend that they look at the throttle body, and oil in the ski. I did not do it, the dealer installed it. Also, how would they adjust the pitch on the impeller?

If the OPAS was stuck in the down position it could have scrubbed off the RPM's.

What are you doing with the training wheels anyway? Block them off

Hey greenhulk, nice that you joined in!

I was thinking about taking the task to take my ski apart myself and send you my supercharger. Maybe my washers are going already...heard one guys SC go after 2 hours in the water! Anyway, I was thinking about putting on the ceramic bearings, metal washers and the green SC impeller!
How much would the labor be and turn around time. Yes, I was planning on getting the parts onthe 4tecperformance site

PS: I found a pdf on how to do this on this forum. Pretty nice.

Oh yeah, as far as too much oil...that could be as well, cause they did a 10hour service on the ski before they put the stage one on!

which dealer did you go to, Team Savage? That place can be hit or miss, depends on who worked on the ski.

    Cycle Springs...near curlew & 19.

I can go on about my experience there, but I'll keep my mouth shut until I get my ski back and running like it should.
