Do you need to prime oil pump if ur warning beep goes off?
I was out riding today and after going over some rough water my oil level buzzer went off. Once I went to calm waters the oil icon on the panel went out. I headed back to the ramp and on my way, I did a few tight turns playing around. The buzzer went off again and as I rode back in,the icon went out. During the flush on the trailor the buzzer didn't go off.
What I'd like to know is do I need to prime the pump because of the low oil level; could I have sucked air into the system?
Thanks in advance,
2003 GPR w/oil injection
