Question How do we measure acceleration?

I'd love to buy this mod, BUT.. how the hell do I tell that it works? By measuring how far my balls swing back in my wetsuit? I'm sure the "GUT" feeling is real, but how do we quantify it?

For all you lake riders that measure top-end, it's easy; just go top end until you can't push it any further, right?

WTF do us ocean guys do? there is always chop, wind and swells.

And how do we measure 0-30, 0-60 times?

With cars, we can use the bolt-on computers.. How do we do that with a couch? My freaking Garmins are set up for hikers and bikers; not psychotic couch slammers!

Sorry for ranting; I am a tech guy and would love to throw some technology at this problem.

the G2x Pro from MSD would probably be better. The G-tech is good but it is not GPS'd based and as accurate as the G2X which can log your rpm's engine load along with a number of other parameters

    good point,

although with the G2 logger you can track your rpm and load and boost pressures as well.... but the stalker would be the next best thing and then the g-tech would be if all else fails

I was "told" that it wouldn't read correctly due to the unstable environment that the watercraft operate in. This is entirely heresay on my part.

In fact, I would think with the Ultra, being such a stable, well-hooked up craft, the Gteck might actually work for checking out launches.

David, have you tried any of these yet? Will it be a stock craft or a modded one?
