    What's the difference in MPH...?

I was wondering if anyone knows what's the MPH difference between the speedometer and a GPS unit? My ski has gone up to about 71 mph in the speedometer....about how much would it be in GPS if there is a feagure to compare it with...?

Not to be rude, but go buy a GPS for under a hundred bucks and find out. You can find a Garmin for cheap.

    GeoRXT,

It varies a little among skis... I would guess on average 70mph speedo is 67mph GPS. Also, very few RXP/RXT speedos will read over 70mph even if you are doing 71+ (at least that was true in '04 & '05).

Yeah I know, i just dont want a cheap one. The one I want is about $300 on ebay and I would rather spend that $$$ elsewhere now!

On my RXT my speedometer is on 70 when my GPS is on 63.
On my GTX SC the speedomter shows 68 when GPS is showing 67 so not off very much on the GTX.

That is a great unit I've bought 3 lost the first 2. The first cost $199 the second $169 and the 3rd Only $139. All of them worked great can even operate it with gloves the joystick on the face works nice!

Most RXP speedo stop at 70. So if you are faster than than Ride all day has the best answer and he likes to ride all day.
