PPG Power Pipe and IC plumbing with BOV
I installed the PPG pipes Friday night. Nice looking pieces and install was easy. I love the way the Power Pipe sounds and it's gotta flow much better than the hose. My hose was all kinked and stuff the way i had to route it due to the intercooler so this pipe was a welcome change.
I'm still not on one side or the other concerning BOV's, but figured i'd give it a shot. If it really does hurt my SC clutch then i'll just rebuild it. Its easy!

Awesome reference pics for me and others Jerry...many usual thanks. I could see a glimpse of the IC bracet. Any difficulties with that or pics of the IC snugged in that resonator space?
So the powerpipe replaces the free flow exhaust - what was the sound increase like? With that over the free flow coupled with the waterbox mod?

nah, the intercooler drops right into place!
the sound is definately louder than stock with either the freeflow or power pipe. the power pipe has a bit different sound though.... sounds meaner

I tried to find this pipe from PPG website! But its not on there! Is there a way I can order one of these? and how much did it set you back?

Compwhiz - it's fairly new. I ordered it not really knowing the price but you definitely need to join ROCX to take advantage of the discounts. I'm thinking I read a post somewhere that it was about $150. Don't know if that was a discounted price though.
Jerry. I had the free flow and waterbox mods done. When I get this powerpipe, will there be any different sound than those mods or about the same?
Excited to get this stuff.

Compwiz.. PPG can be reached at 954-929-1636 and ask for "parts"
I noticed a slight difference in sound, but it's not any louder.

i am confused. is the power pipe intercooler tubing? i think thats right and this would be the same thing as rotax racing pro plumbng kit posted on sea-doo.net?

nevermind i got it..the power pipe and rotax pro plumbing kit are 2 different things...any opinions on the power pipe..meanier sound..any power gain that sort of thing?

Apparently the powerpipe is just like the free flow mod in that you're by-passing the resonator and also upgrading that U shaped hose for a more direct and better flowing exhaust that supposedly provides better acceleration. Although the acceleration claims are yet to be verified, I know the sound (as I have the free flow) is improved and the replacement of that crappy hose can only be an improvement.

Someone told me that the exhaust hose is big and curvy to prevent water from backflowing into the waterbox. I don't know if this is true or not, but if it is, does the powerpipe have some method of preventing backflow?
