Ray Charles works for Kawasaki !!!

I decided to take a look at the silicone job on my intake and see if anything needed to be cleaned up... Well, all I can say is a 2 year old could have done a better job and smeared less silicone on the bottom of my hull .. Question is how do I safely remove it from the black paint ???

I know what you mean. Ray Charles does the work then Stevie Wonder approves it! I have a ton of extra silicone too. I am just going to leave it; boat floats and runs . . . If you have a steady hand a razor blade will do it.

At any automotive paint store you can get this wheel that is made of rubber. It's mainly for decals but works well in this situation also. Attach it to your drill and the rubber wheel safely peels the silicone off..

Thanks for the rubber wheel suggestion,,,, would this be o.k. to use on the black part of the hull ??

P.S. I to was thinking, who in their right mind would have approved this slop job..
