    I just bought my RXT

Hey I live in Ohio, and just got my 2005 RXT took it out on lake Erie how stupid am I in 60 degree weather. I could only get my new green machine to go 63 mph and it was a fairly smooth. What can I do to kick up the mph ? is this a break in period? Glad to be a part of the forum

How many hours on it? 63 seems right, but if you are under 10 hours you shouldn't be holding it wide open for too long.

don't run it hard for the first few hours, only short full throttle runs and you will see more speed as the hours build and it loosens up.

    GM,

miketrin is right... only occasional full throttle bursts until you have ten hours on it... then let it rip And they do seem to pick up some speed around 40hrs... sounds strange, but they doo!

    Welcome to the forum guys.

    Feel the need for speed?

Either of the kits work great for starters, but you will eventually end up going with the components of the second kit so you might as well do it now

There are some pretty fast Sea Doo's on this site. Several of them are being built up now and will easily exceed 80 mph on GPS. Probably mid 80's.
