Intake grate center bar removal ??
anybody try removing the center bar on the stock intake grate of a 250 ??? if so what are the results..

Cool, thanks for the reply Dave.... I know when I cleaned and sharpend up the vanes in the pump of my 150's it made a difference. I'm waiting on my shop manual to see how to pull the prop off, I'm guessing it's not the same as a 150, spline tool and a vice ???

This is next weeks project remove center bar and clean silicone.

Did this and put a radius on the scoop, put back in w/r&d stuffer kit. cavitation down and seems 2 be a bit faster @ top end.
