How hard is the install for the riva thermostat ?
Do you have to use oetiker clamps when you put the tubes back on, can you just use screw clamps ?

Screw clamps are fine... you will have to lay across the ski in odd positions and exhibit outstanding patience and the ability to squash your nads for 15min at a time

Kinchyle... I'm sorry, I didn't realize you were talking about the installation of the thermostat into the housing. I was refering to the removal and installation of the entire thermostat housing. I've never done the Riva kit but have been curious about the procedure. Let me know how it turns out.
The nads will suffer during the "remove and replace" of the housing
BTW, I used screw clamps instead of oetikers.

I found four letter words I never knew exsisted when I installed the 158 degree RR thermostat. Of all the mods I have done to my ski--this was the most difficult IMO.

My local watercraft tech told me that it is a pain in the a$$ and time consuming job...
