    i can't put it back...need help

    hey guys....i got the new oil pump and i can not put the Magneto house on the block, i remember last time i hade luck and it just slide in it but now i just can't put it back. is there a trick to do it?
    please help....its 96F outside and i am about to fire up the F....ng garage and just walk a way.....

    this is an old picture, now i have the engine out on a table...

    turn the water pump wheel so the oil pump shaft lines up with the CB shaft

    and make sure you have the starter and bendix and shims all in there properly

    here it is....the water pump is linde up ok...but i have problem with the starter/bendix...i am going creasy now ...this is the max i can put it on...

    anybody?....the bendix cogwheel hase to be behind that big cogwheel??? or it sits on it? (see on the first picture)...

    i got it in, YEAH...the engine is turning nice, all i have to do is just wait for the SC from Jerry and put back.

    Because of the new riva impeller and the 2 new oil pump do i have to ride it gently or i can hit it right a way ???

    good deal! make sure everything checks out, idle it in the water let it warm up and if everything is good to go, go riding!...PR...

    yeah... after i put the SC back i will ride it with out the seat and look for error...i hoop i will not see anything

    just make sure you have the oil cooler coolant lines and the resevoir tank hooked up properly...PR...

    just saw this thread again... PET, i take it you got the PTO cover back on, right?

    in the picture above, your starter bendix assembly isn't in the block all the way...

    and where are the shims that go on the starter bendix shaft? they are not in the picture
