    Piranha Fuel Regulator

    Fuel Pressure Regulator
Can't figure out the Piranha Fuel Reg? Set it up at 58psi with key on, ran boat, at idle 11.0a/f, through rev range gradually rising a/f to the point of being lean at wot(13.1-13.3). Added 2-3psi to reg and instantly idle a/f and all through rev range went leaner again with only a small improvement at wot(12.9-13.1). Added another 2-3psi to reg (now about 65-66psi) and idle went to 12a/f to upto 13+ then at wot down to 12.7-12.9. What the? I need to get a/f down to 12.5? How do I do it? Is what I have at the moment normal? Am I on the right track.

Mods are B-kit, Riva ECU, 50lb injectors, Piranha IC and rear exhaust, Riva front intake, 15/20 turning 8400-8450, block guard and valve gear upgrade and getting good air flow into the hull

    Can anybody help please

    Please see Install instructions:

Please post me pictures of where you have the 1/8 BSP located in the Manifold? Yellow hose going from Fule Pressure Reg to Manifold...

It must be in the correct location.

I am using an innovate a/f meter. I have plumbed into the manifold by drilling out the existing moulded in tubes. The same ones riva uses for running boost lines to their BOV. I used the middle intake runner.

Thanks Jase, I was talking to Kevin and thought I might try tapping into my IC blockoff for a pick up. What do you think?

    Thanks

It will work but not the ideal location.

Tap it 1 inch above the Map Sensor 1/8 BSP and LOcktite it in position.

It needs to be in a Neutral air position just like the Map sensor is.......
