Transom hose question
While out on water today I kept having to run bilge over and over again and couldn't find the source. Finally ran engine with compartment open and found a 4 inch small clear hose coming off a plastic black nipple at the transom had popped off. Even when connected, the other end connects to another nipple and places the tubing in a U shape which appears to restrict water flow. What is this and how do I secure the hose on the nipple?

Those are your bildge lines...you should replace all the tie wraps with small hose clamps which you can get at NAPA. If they come loose they will fill the boat with water. After replacing all the tie wraps, secure them back up high on the transom for the bildge to work properly.
