    jetting for block off kit?

    Thinking about going premix. really dont trust the oil inj.

    Is there any jetting changes neccasary for blocking off the oil inj and going premix?
    please point me in the right direction as to jet size and settings for a stock engined 96 sl 780.

    1/4 turn on the highs?? I'd open them 1/4 turn and check plugs or piston wash.

    38MM carbs with 34 MM venturi's
    Main 107.5
    Low 72.5
    High Speed Screws
    Mag=3/4 CEN=3/4 PTO=1
    Low Speed Screws 5/8 turn all cylinders

    another question.

    popped the carbs off and i see that the oil inj lines go right into the fuel bowl area. correct? if so, then the oil and fuel are mixing in the carb and going out through the jets. correct?

    My oil pump went into the intake manifold, below the carbs. Not into the carbs themselves

    That's my take on it. I don't think rejetting is necessary. Go through the carb tuning process keeping an eye on wash and plugs and let us know what you find out.

    Pics please as I'm baffled by what you are seeing. The oil is usually injected just below the carbs directly into the intake manifold.

    On my 780 the oil pump line actually goes on a nipple on the carb. It's just above the inlet screen. The fuel/oil mixes before it even goes through the needle/seat.
