That EBAY Intercooler: Mounting and Plumbing pics

I've got this thing in my hull right now, layed in what I think will be the best position. Funny thing is, with it's current layout, I have a mandrel bent pipe that lines up just about dead on balls perfect...

This is gonna be a BITCH to mount!!!!! i see NO WAY of bolting/strapping it in with serious fabrication and having a tig welder layin around to keep going back and forth... i wish i did

i'm thinking what i want to do is weld Feet.. or posts coming off the bottomof the intercooler so it rests on the bottom of the hull... that will keep it in the right spot vertically... and once the pipes and couplings are on, that will be plenty to keep it locked in to and fro.. with a little bit of that Great Stuff insulation in a can, the strong rapid expanding foam... i'll put that in just 2 or 3 vital places to lock it in place... just ideas i'm tossing around for now

hoping i can get it piped tomorrow and DONE ... but i most likely won't be testing it and leaving it there once I have it installed because i don't think i can run the external IC with this part thats getting to my house wednesday for some testing i need to leave my stock IC intact for just a few more days, and if i got the balls to play risky, i might throw the external IC in there...

so if u have this intercooler, what have your findings been so far as far as mounting and piping? or are you all relying on me for piping it hahaha

Order a mounting kit from Riva if all else fails.

I found 2" hooks at home depot in the electrical/plumbing section. They have a hole in it big enough to fit on the bolt with blue number 2. I'm going to put the hook where the washer is and bolt it in. This will let me ratchet tie pulling it back.

Maybe you could use the bolt in the far back.

I'll have my plumbing in a day or so and I'll post some pics.
I'm going to mount mine today hopefully.

What is that red connection for the water. I just used teflon tape on some brass fittings.
Rapidacceleration has a HUGE connection for his water. Do we need to open up the yellow washer ?

I`m still messing with that... I swapped out the red reducer to the yellow in my GTX SC when I added the riva IC, I think that would be sufficient, I wouldn`t open it up anymore, it is calibrated to flow just enough water into the waterbox as to not over fill it, which would cause the ski to stumble when first applying throttle. Daniel has his own method/calculation and fabrication for his unique set-up...PR...
