    Aftermarket rideplates

    Would someone mind telling me what exactly a aftermarket ride plate does, and what it adds or takes away?..I have heard many differthing tihngs. What will it do for a stock 1997 xp?...thx ppl

    The ride plate can add speed for some skis. However, do NOT change the rideplate on a 97xp. The stock plate is the fastest. If you want a little more performance out of the stock rideplate you can true it.

    maybe he doesnt jsut want top end...

    whats it mean to "true" it...well my ski is quick i believe outta the hole...i smoke a 03 seadoo gti rfi..the luxury one..but he comes back on top speed...every so slightly
