    RXT Steering Sticky

2005 RXT, salt water use only.
    I also have a 2005 GTX-SC that's smooth as silk.
Although... the GTX's start button misses once in a while.

Each ski has about 25 hrs on it.

Any 25 hr maintenance tip appreciated.

My steering occasionally gets a bit stiff too - I also ride in the sea. The best way I found to loosen it again was to use spray grease all over the OPAS mechenism. I also took off the fire-extinguisher holding plate so I could also cover the steering mechanism in the stuff - that made it alot better

sylicone spray in the gap behind the handlebars where it rotates around the column works for me.

Also srtip down the opas and look for sand/salt....clean & re-grease.

The start button problem I have heard is the starter solenoid- cheap and easy to replace, so do that.
