    Pics of my XLT

I think I have my XLT where I want it. Theres just something about those big Yamaha logos, like on the old factory race boats, that appeal to me. Got the registration numbers here http://www.signspecialist.com/letter...atnumbers.html
and the Yamaha and R&D at Exotic. Removed the mirrors and painted those damn grey eyeball lookin things to match the hood. I got rid of that worthless closed tow loop and put on one that actually works. Its basically a Stage II less the high comp head, keeping on 87 octane. Best speed was 64.1 w/ GPR nozzle but bounced too much for me, put on the XLT nozzle best was 63.4. Nothing like the triple piper but the family can still ride this one
Ill probably have my plated worked this winter.

I have to bow down!!! Ozark, I had no idea u had an '01 XLT yourself. It's beautiful There's somehting about that silver XLT design that had me going for years. I didn't rest until I got mine last year. I love it, love the handling, the confort, the speed & the mean way it looks from the front. Everyone tells me these XLT's look like an alien. The little things' you've done here & there have certainly made a HUGE diferrence on your XLT. It's beautiful. As u can see below, I have alot to go with mine. As far as looks go? The only thing I've done is remove the decals on the bottom & the ones on the side right above the black bumper. That's it but damn I love it. Dude, if u ever plan on parting it out like u did the GPR. U MUST let me know!

Thanks Maniac. Good move getting rid of the lower stickers, I dont mind the ones on the upper deck, but the lowers sucked. Exotic signs doesnt have a silver that matches the hood, closest is a little lighter. I prefered the silver over the others since I had a '00 GPR that was silver, they looked good together on the trailer. No plans on parting this one out though, the family likes it too much.

And a big thanks to Gator and that crazy Raiders fan

Thats nice man, and about the same look I'm going for!

I was thinking about doing the same to my seats, but I think the black would get too hot down here. Still trying to decide.

I'm going to keep my mirrors, they're worthless but I kinda like the look of them. I might go chrome. I'm also putting the billet boweye hooks on the back to replace the stock white ones.

Which sticker is the one on the glove compartment? I love it!

Thanks Blitz. That sticker was given to me, friend had a bunch. I think yu can get it from Exotic, look under Industry logos, yamaha tuning forks. The black on the seats isnt bad at all, I never touch it while Im riding and my kids havent complained about it on the back seat either.

I finally found this pic I edited (photo shoped) about 2 months ago. I would love to have my XLT look like this. Yeah, I would actually take off the top logos too. I like the original top logos but I like diferrent. Unique is good! I wonder if Hydro-Turf would reverse those black/silver colors on the seats. Yeah, I think they would. Anyway, yeah, that's my goal after I'm done with the engine in a couple months.

I dig those XLTR graphics. Im in for a set if you have some extras made up.
Hydro Turf will do whatever colors you want in any combination.

Ozark, I have the biggest hook up on decals here in Miami. I've been dealing with decals since about 1996 & I can have them made in any color, any font. I just never have the time to go to the place. The guy is SUPER SUPER cheap. I could probably get those decals for $8-$10 bucks or so. See this guy charges me by the ft. He doesnt charge me for the designing. Usually, something like this can cost u over $40.00 for a pair.
