    Installing seadoo ski pylon

Hi everyone! Newbie here. I just bought a 07 GTX limited SC that I love! I was wondering if anyone had any pics or tricks on installing a seadoo ski pylon. I t looks straight forward I just like measuring twice and cutting once ! thanks! Kurt

I have the ski pylon on my 05 RXT. I let my dealer install it. They only charged me 1 hr labor. I figured that wasn't bad and let them be responsible if they screw it up. I think the had part is drilling the hole on the goofy angle on the rear.

Welcome to the forum Human Hammer. Here is a factory installed pylon on a wake edition. Others may give tips for installing one. Should just need a hole saw for the lower part and attach the top to the pull ring you already have. Nothing is attached inside the hull the pipe just hangs down in there.

Your welcome. Let me know if you need anymore pics. or a measurement from a certain point for the bottom hole so it will end up straight.

Welcome to the forum,.....Here's mine on an 06 RXP.Dealer wouldn't touch this one with a 10 foot pole..... It's not supposed to fit, since there is no factory set up for it but I made it work using aluminum "L" channel and a clamp. The second pic shows the older setup, I replaced that pipe clamp with a stainless muffler style after the mods went in,The third is how I attached to the seat clamps for additional support....Works perfectly.

I drilled an extra hole for the pin so puts the rope bell is just above the grab handle. The hole is 1.5 inches below the top hole. The reason I did this is when you have the pylon all the way up and pulling someone when the run out beside you there is so much leverage from being up high it feels they could roll the ski over if they wanted to.
