What cost for lower end 951cc ?
Curious on what the bottom end replacement would be for a 951cc engine.
1k, 1.5k ?
Who to buy from?

Thanks for that link, they are right here in my home town and never noticed them before. In fact, they are just around the corner.
Where are you located on the wet coast? LoL
Went away for the long weekend with Jmaxy & saw the Interior of BC. My first time. Doh!
Drove through it at night back in '92 and ended up in Surrey. Can you imagine how I was scratching my head and wondering, "Where the heck am I?" Lol
Anyway, here is a movie I made based on my experience (and I will be moving), and also, thanks for the help.

I live in White Rock.
Tomorrow we're heading to a friends place on Otter Lake in Tulameen for two days then on to Osoyoos for a week on the lake.
Mongoose do machine work only they will not build you an engine. They do sell cranks and piston kits if you want to DIY. If you want a good rebuild I have the number of a local independent Seadoo mechanic that does great work at decent prices. PM me and I'll send you his number when I get back.

what is the water temp in canada
08-10-2007, 10:11 PM #9
Not sure of the temp in any exact measures, however I still use a half suit when I ride due to the wind chill factor.
It's swimable for sure, and at Crescent Beach (about 3.5 weeks ago) the shore temp was 72 and was really nice.
The interior of BC is new to me and the best I have ever seen in Canada, and will move there post-ala-haste LoL.
The water was even warmer and the nights were like being in the tropics, all balmy and such.
You guys have it made in Florida. Had wished I was there on many occasions as I used to visit there freequently.

The info gauge on my 98 GTXL was showing air temps in the 90's and water temps in the high 70's low 80's on Lake Osoyoos last week.
The best part is I didn't break anything on both machines.
