    Normal or Not?

I have a SL650 1992 and when I go over waves many times the engine has high RPM's and keeps going over the next wave. However, lately when I hit big waves the engine almost sounds like it stops in mid air and then will start back up after entering the water. It almost acts like a loose electrical connection but not sure. Any idea's anyone? Please feel free to give advice. Thanks.

if you think it is a loose connection check the battery cables and their termination points. Don't be afraid to grab them and move them. If they feel crunchy might be your problem.

Let off the throttle when you leave the water. Lugs may be right, you may be hitting the limiter.
