    Question Is anyone seeing 4-5Mpg?

I'm still testing but I think I'm onto something.. I was getting 2-3 up until now.. Won't be able to test again until next weekend; I just want to make sure I'm not chasing a ghost. This is considering an average mix of cruising + a few WOTs plus a few stops.

I know the fuel thing has been beat to death but I'm desperate; I have multiple long distance rides coming up and I'll literally stop the show if I have to stop.

    LB

    4.2mpg

I don't push mine, usually running 35 to 50mph, rarely
go WOT. GPS calculated 4.2mpg, or about 75/80 miles
    per tank with some reserve

The only time I ever checked mine with gps I got 4.4. Half of the trip was with 2 people on the ski.

Lord, short of putting the NA aspirated version fuel injectors in your boat there is no way you are going to get 5 mpg (btw, swapping to the NA fuel injectors is a bad idea). It loves fuel and that's just the way it is!

I guess it could be the break-in factor then; I'm definitely seeing a difference under identical riding conditions..

the last time I paid attention to the fuel mileage, I got @ 82 miles to @ 21 gallons, that was a lot of WOT and long stretchs of cruising in the 6000+ rpm range.

Today i was WOT for 50mins on the river and the buzzer came on coming home ,cruised at 50mph for nearly 5mins.
Full the tank up again at the Gas station 72 litres of gas =16 gallons

If you hold it wide open, even the RXP only gets about 3.7 mpg. Cruise at 35 mph and you can get over 10 mpg.
