Tricks to pulling stock IC out of an '04 RXP manifold
I have the intercooler almost out. The end cap of the IC that is at the back of the motor is partially out of the opening. Between the angle it has to come out at to get by the fuel tank and the size of the opening in the manifold it does not appear that the IC is going to come out this way. So what methods have the owners of '04 RXPs used to get that IC out of the manifold. I have scraped up my forarms enough trying to wiggle and twist that thing out of there. Now I need a better method.
I know in discussions with Vern, who owns a '05 RXP, that Sea Doo may have changed from an o-ring seal ('04) to a band seal ('05) at the end caps. This might have helped with the clearance issue of getting the IC out of the manifold.

take the 7 bolts out of the intake manifold and lift the manifold up enough for the IC to clear the fuel tank. Its easy!

I thought that might be one option, but I was not excited about breaking lose the manifold.
What about loosing/removing the front motor mount bolt and lifting just the front of the motor slightly, but not to high to place undue stress on the rear motor mounts or driveline?

Removing the intake manifold bolts is easy. You do not want to break loose the front motor mount and try and lift it up with the drive shaft in place.
