Perhaps the reason for this tuning nightmare
Well it's been crazy trying to get this ski tuned right. Been following the "Tuning tips for girls" word for word. While tuning it's going back and forth showing lean symptoms, rich symptoms, idle seems moderately alright, half throttle is pretty weak although smooth, and then full throttle is nonexistent. Today was the second attempt, and it was the last straw. Brought it back in, took out the carbs and pulled the reeds. Hmmm what do we have here...
Sand, rust, dirt. Where are those filters? Still looking for them. Maybe not on '94 750's?
Looking through petals with light below. They are all in similar condition.
Guess now I'm looking for some new or good reeds, and also a carb rebuild kit.

I've got some stock reeds from my 780 in excellent shape...they're yours for the asking.

Do you have a reed stuffer for the odd ball reed?
Who went crazy with the gasket sealer? Must have been on sale.
I am glad you found the problem before it took out a piston.

Did Tony hook you up with the cage and everything or just the reeds? I am sure someone on here would have a set of cages and stuffers if you need them.

Tony took care of me for the reeds. I think I'll need to find some stock reed assemblies as well, or whatever you call 'em.
