MFD won't shut off
OK, picked up this 98 SLTH that needed a "new carb". Anyway took the carb apart and cleaned it, charged the battery and installed an inline feul filter. Runs great, topping out at about 6800 RPM (speedometer is whacky.. ) and everything on the display is mint (hearing about the ones that fade and stop working). Seeing how there are only 45 hours on the machine, I would like to keep the display in good shape but it won't turn off when I park the ski and remove the safety tether. Is there some way to shut this thing off without disconnecting the battery?? Am I going to have to set up a main power switch somewhere? Thanks guys,

After 15 min the MFD goes into sleep mode and displays the clock.

Won't that eventually drain the battery? I don't ride very often. Battery voltage from letting it sit for about two days went from 12.6 to 12.4V.
