Bunk Mates for Trailer Bunks for Ultra 250X

As you guys know, the Ultra 250X is heavy boat i.e. approx. 1,000 lbs. with a full tank of gas. As such, it very difficult for one person to slide the Ultra 250 down when it's on only carpet-covered bunk beds.

Bunk Mates would be the answer however I am concerned that it will scratch off the black gelcoat paint and start digging into the fiberglass hull.

Has anyone experienced any problems with Bunk Mates?

Liquid rollers works amazingly well. NCHeel turned me on to it. great stuff!
Dont unhook the strap until you are in the water, It WILL fly off the bunks.

Bunkaps - no more carpet replacing

I put 'bunkaps' on composite/ plastic boards - completely rot proof,
no wood - attached the bunkaps to the boards with SS screws, rustproof - no scratches on my 250X thus far (after about 20 launches YTD)

    Check out www.bunkaps.com
great product, I have used on other boat trailers and boat lifts -
    no scratches, very durable

    Bunk Mates for 250X

Thanks for the tips guys. I'll try liquid rollers and/or WD40 for now and see how it goes. If that doesn't work, I'll give bunkaps a try.

    Thanks again for the feedback.

Does liquid rollers need to be applied every time loading the ski or does it last for a while? Also, where do you get this stuff from? Online or do dealers carry it?

    Thanks.
