nope its not even made by rule and its not fully auto like the rule one is.

Looks like the rule mate beat out the rule 500...
They said the attwood was the best but it didn't used tinned wires. Can you change it out ?

Kinch: check out www.boatfix.com That`s where I got my stuff from, you will see a PWC specific Rule auto pump, that`s what I bought, but this one is only 2 wires, the switch # 41 is really for 3 wire pumps, look at all the selections, there are quite a few...even though the attwood pump are nice, the sahara auto series are large, try and use the space provided for the depth finder transducer (circle in hull next to water box) to mount pump if you do not use a bracket or JB weld of course...LOL...PR...

Looks like attwood has a automatic 500 now that uses tinned wire and only uses 1.5amps. Anyone think this is better than the rule ?

becarefull in your choice, some of these pumps need 2 1/2 in of water to kick on the float switch, read more specs on what you find, the rule auto 500 comes on when enregized SENSES no water and shuts off after 2.5 secs, it WILL continue if there is water in the hull, it does this thru computerized circuitry/resistance.
and yes 1.5 amp draw is good and low for our applications.

Kinchyle, you can get the Fully Auto RULE 500 GPH Bilge Pump and the Rule 43 Switch for 65.00 to your door. Once you end up buying the Attwod Pump and a switch your at 65.00 why not spend the extra 5 and get the one that is known to work when you are sinking.

What is up with these bad reviews on the Rule

Does anyone have any other bad comments on the Rule ?
Those reviews make me want to go to an Attwood.
