    UPDATED: results of Les B kit and RR ECU on Shibbs ski

    2005 RXT

    Last time out 3 days ago:
    Mods were 14/18.5 Solas, Pump wedge, NOPAS, thru-hull exhaust
    71.2 mph @ 8100 rpms

    TODAY: RUN #1
    14/18.5 Solas, pump wedge, NOPAS, thru-hull, new flash RR ECU, Les B kit
    72.5 mph @ 8300 rpms

    TODAY: RUN #2
    15/20 out of the box, pump wedge, NOPAS, thru-hull, new RR ECU, Les B kit
    73.2 mph @ 8050-8100 rpms

    still have to install external IC as all these runs are with the STOCK seadoo intercooler.. i'm done for the day

    theres not much of a diff there shibby! is that what u expected or is something wrong?

    ski is on the lift as we speak, about to throw a 15/20 on it for shits and giggles
    Shibbs, I don't think the 15-20 will help you. I don't get it, you got the "B" kit and only a little gain

    What were the temps in the 2nd run ?
    I thought you want 8400 with the ECU. Should you need to prop down ?

    shib, the 15/20 with 1-2 mm taken out of the trailing edge will bring you 74+ at 8400 RPM's

    gotta tweak the prop to be able to sling it at 8400 though

    what about acceleration on the two test runs.

    I wouldn't care if my top speed was only 60mph if I could get there in 1.2 seconds.
