Question Best SC Wheel With Stock Ecu And Stock Ic ???

I live in Moscow, Russia and unfortunatly can't hardcore mod my ski due to petrol quality (On the lakes I can find the equivalent of the US 91 RON/MON).

    I would like to:

    Mod water box
    Install Riva rear air intake

    and

Change sc wheel keeping stock ECU and IC.

Which is the best I can install with "our" petrol, keeping stock injectors, as well ?

    Thanks to all for help,

    Gionnik

    GIONNIK,

I'm no expert on foreign oil, but if your petrol is the same as our 91 octane here in California, then you will be fine with your proposed mods to include the RR SC impeller or the "Green wheel" impeller that Jerry (Green Hulk) offers. My Lady's ski has basically the same mods that you are contemplating and it runs 70mph on California 91 octane with no problems. Others will chime in if I have missed something.

    Good luck with your mods,

    Jeff & Annette

(BTW... her ski is a 3-seater)

Man, I didn't think about that. I should have though... I saw the movie "White Nights"

Go figure a Cali boy would forget about the cold

I'm using the RR wheel with stock injectors and stock intercooler, running 74.0 mph. I understand the RR wheel is identical to the cheaper "Green wheel" and Les Cooke "A kit". Any of those will definitely work.

I've been considering switching to the Riva S3 blower to try and get more power.

People have gone as quick as 76.5 mph with stock injectors, so I think they'll support it as long as I stay with the stock intercooler.

    gtxscrider,

You are right, I forgot my model...2006 RXP. Many PWCs here, many dealers and lots of people having fun with all kind of toys money can buy !

Thanks to all other, it looks Riva S3 is the most powerful option...equivalent but less powerful...RR, Green Wheel, Les cooke A-kit.

Any issue installing one of the above wheels with a stock ecu?

    Thanks,
    Gionnik

Any of those will be fine. From reading about combo's, it looks like the stock ECU is fine as long as you're ok with running 8100 rpm (aftermarket allows 8500) and stock or 42 lb/hr injectors.

    GIONNIK,

You might want to PM Jerry before you make a decision on the SC impeller. I re-read your 1st post and it is my understanding that the Riva Stage 3 SC would be questionable with your proposed mods.

And yes... you can run these with a stock ECU.
