    1300R Advent ECU

    Any word on this? I remember a month ago it was 2 weeks out....

    Never..

    been working on it since what? 03 and now it's practly 08. The GPR has been passed up, in the R&D dept

    its always two weeks out....

    my data tach is two weeks out....a year ago.

    the 66v programable cdi was 2 weeks out,,,,3 years ago.

    greg is a VERY nice guy. probably too nice spending way to much time on the phone dealing with inquires.... one of the first things i learned,,,,never make promises you cant keep.

    Well we know they are working on it. So it hasn't been passed up. They are just slow.... very sloww......

    Glad to hear some of the realistic info. on the Advent guys......I was in the market to get one but now I thing I will shy away.....I just couldn't spend that much ransom that has ssssssllllllllllloooooooowwwwww turn around time and not to mention a questionable reliablility factor.

    just to clarify a few things, this unit is a programmable CDI that can be used on any 1 - 4 cylinder motor - 2 or 4 stroke - so you can use it with kawi, Seadoo, etc, etc

    it includes an EFI module that can be added

    this unit is far superior to anything that has been available for a Yamaha to this date - it will be worth the wait
