    Flames Arrestor Without supression box???

    I am ordering a race flame arrestor,d-plate,and hole shot exaust kit for my 07 and was wondering if i should remove the sound supression box.. I have heard that you will lose some speed by doing this....Thanks

    I would keep the stock sound exhaust in the back unless you are going to an extreme psi setup motor wise. No need for it other than to stop detenation.

    leave the ss in to keep top end..

    remove to gain SOME bottom to mid but with the hole shot kit i would stay syock ss..

    just my 2 cent, and what ive tested on my 05,

    For me, the 20-30 rpm "gain" by leaving the SS in was not worth the hassle of trying to work in the rear of the ski and have that thing still in there. On the other side of the coin, it does make the ski a whole lot louder....

    Thanks to all you guys!!! I will prob keep it in until i get into the motor this winter with the new head and porting i will have done... Thanks
