    You guys think your cool?

    answer this :P
    Got a 04 RXP, SC went bad and customer has been running syn oil
    SC gear is worn bad, 1/2 the gear is grinded down from bouncing off the flywheel and ceramic washers are GONE. I did a oil change and sucked out as much oil as I could, horrible oil filter with TONS AND TONS of gear depsoits in filter, no sign of foul oil. Installed a new SC and oil and filter.Started the unit and funny smell with white smoke, checked the dipstick and the oil is [b]WHITE I have a couple of idea's but dont want to lean towards anything.


    ANYONE WHO HAS ANY IDEA'S, thanks

    JD, don't know much on that, but it seems like if it's white, could, maybe wtaer mixed in oil?, give mark a call and ask him, he's the masser

    head gasket, coolant is probly mixed with coolant. Is coolant low?
    bearings are most likey shot. theay will spin if you dont have good oil. new motor time

    Did the sc damage the engine block??? I have seen that before..

    i just try to apply any problems i have as if it was a 5.0 302 with a vortech s trim so having said that .. if i checked the oil in my mustang and it was milky coolant and or water had to mix with the oil causing this milky effect ..head gasket ? did the ski ingest water at all? when i flipped my ski and it was hydrolocked my oil was milky for about 4 oil changes and 3 filters later and 2 sets of plugs .....

    Ok, lets look at it this way. The gear is chewed. The metal went some where. Through the intake into the pistons. Ceramics are gone. Again, they too went somewhere. Through the oil pumps. You have water in the oil. Immulsified. It got there somehow. Now how does a head gasket come into play? :P

    How about this senario:
    water pump - PTO cover gasket - thermostat - area`s > chewed gears slinging around beating up everthing in it`s path, is it possible block damage internally or ruptured gasket areas pertaining to that area of the block which houses the driven gears to the SC and the water pump?... allowing coolant to enter thru one of these areas causing contaminated oil, I`d say in any senario the engine is toast...PR...

    The babit on the bearings don`t like antifreeze!
