    * I took a long screwdriver and pryed under them and popped them right up. Get a pair of channellocks or pliers too to grab them once you get it lifted up.
    * I've done 3 skis like this, and it works everytime. The last ski I did was Jetskr's 03 GPR.
    * Removing the rear stinger helps too in giving more room.

some people use a heat gun, but I don't like the fumes.

I had yami put in the upgraded brackets, do you think that will be an issue, as far as screwdriver prying?

ewe.....well, is it still the green goo glue, or did they use glass ?

Here is what my old brackets looked like back in 2001 when the previous owner had the dealer do it.

I had to use a die grinder to cut it all out.

Yeah James, you'll have to use a die grinder to grind it all out. Repair the areas well with marinetex before doing the tunnel reinforcing process.

well, so far so good!! Got a PM to torch it, then used your "billy" screw driver to pry it up trick, and walla

I got about 90% out and the hole in the side actually looks worse. looks like it fallows that slanted line all the way to the bottom...
