'05 GTX Limited (RXT) Takeing on LOTS o WATER

Okay, where should I start looking.

    (Background info)
My Brother came back from a ride on Sunday, took a hard spill, the passenger broke his ankel from wacking the gunwale as they got bucked off the ski.... Now, I'f I was on it, I wouldn't have fallen off, and it looked like a rough ride, but....well anyway...it was funny to watch, the whole boat was looking at them when it happened...
    (done)

So the Ski sat behind the house inthe lagoon for about an hour while we cleaned up, I go to move the GTX Ltd, and the back sinks and I almost fall off cause the boyancy was all F'ed up.

There was 10" (I measured) 10.25 to be exact, in the engine compartment by the supercharger. Slowly lifted it and drained it, then fully pulled it out of the water. Hooked the flush kit up from the rear of the machine, and flushed it, while flushing it, I looked for water leaking....didn't find anything.

I havn't put it back in to check for leeks while the hull is under pressue at a resting state, but I will.

Anyone know what might be up?

    Chris

Sounds like the carbon seal. Chris. You;ll have to put it in the water. Just float it.See if it leaks. Then start it up. And check if it leaks. Also the bailer O rings dry out and leak. But I dont think thats your problem

your entire bailer tubes could be off if you didn't replace the stock zip ties with small clamps

I'm going to drop it in the water tonight and take a look, then bring it over to a BuDdies to look into it further.

Its not that time of the Month, But I got a heavy Flow!

Its not that time of the Month, But I got a heavy Flow!

Found where the water was coming in. Its like a garden hose it turned on HI when its in the water....takes on water FAST!

Its flowing in and pouring out through the bellows on the bow side. The Clamp is still holding the bellows to the carbon ring, but that carbon ring moves really freely towards the stern, and can wiggle.

After a little help from someone with some great experience (Thanks again, BTW, we kinda figure the problem is with #'s 37, 38,and 39. in the below image.

How did things work out? Leak fixed?
Did the dealer offer any details on what went wrong?
Did the C ring fail and cause the support ring to move away from the carbon ring?
    Did the carbon ring break?
    Just curious...
