Going to start adding some upgrades to the '94 SLT 750,And doing it in steps and posting the results. There's alot of us new 750 guys on here looking for more.
Best Speed last night was 48.2 on GPS smooth water,But 47.6 was the repeative common speed hit.
The weather is going to lousey for the next week so it may be alittle while between upgrades.

I have and will be adding the following:

    Lake Cities ride plate
    Scooped Intake
    ANGLED reed spacers
    set of sponsons

You might want to pick up some aftermarket carbon fiber reeds, chances are if your reeds are stock you will see some corners missing when you go to put the spacers in. Either way you should pull the cages out and give them a good looking at while you're in there.

Matter of opinion. Carbon Tech is supposed to be pretty good from what I've read without going broke.

Installed the R&D Grate today and took it out on the river. Same conditions a the Base Run, Except had to watch for floating crap, The river was up 3'. Had a load of rain around here last few days.Best run was 48.8 GPS.Easy average run was 47.8...sorta surprized, thought it might drop some. I don't think it is as big a scoop as some I've seen. Held the slight chop better. But when you let off the hammer...Quicker stop. Had the lady friend on with me later and kicked up a lone duck, It was a race up the river ...Me and the duck... a 1/2 mile run...It was so funny...I was gaining slightly, and almost under him when we came to the Power Lines that cross the river....I yelled to the Duck.."WATCH THE LINE" .... It was like the duck was watching us.....At the last second the duck looked and just miss hitting the line ....I gave him the race.. I figured he earned it. L.O.L.

The next thing I'll do is the Ride plate.

Put the Lake City ride plate on Sunday,The river was closed because of high water yesterday and today,so i went to the rev. The water was a little more choppy because of the breeze. Made quite a few runs ever direction. Best top was 46.8.,sorta disappointed with the lost of speed, but the handling was great. The ride was great over waves and chop and the pump stayed loaded, I almost threw myself off at one point in a tight carve.Hooked up with a friend and started goofing around for a while. On the way back in things was smoother, after loading the ski grabbed the GPS out of it and had hit 50.0 MPH even somewere in the trip.I'll try another run sometime this week. Even if I lost some MPH I think the plate is worth it,alot more fun having the handling.Got to get some sponsons on it,should help pick-up some speed.
PS. Can still spin it out, just alot tighter.....OH yeah,A little easier to lose a 21 Y.O. with a bikini off the back in a tight turn. L.O.L.
